Kate Forbes MSP has written to leading satellite navigation firms such as Apple and Google Maps to see whether they can provide additional safety features on navigation devices that could help prevent vehicles driving on the wrong side of Highland roads.
Kate Forbes MSP has called on Highland Council and independent care providers in the north of Scotland to consider a pooling arrangement with social workers in a bid to improve support for foster carers in rural areas.

Reacting to the publication of the Sturrock Review earlier today (9 May), Kate Forbes MSP said: “This independent, external review has hopefully given all those affected the opportunity to make their feelings and views known.
